Stringhams True Value - Store Info

Stringham’s Hardware began in 1983 when Kurt and Kathie Stringham purchased Davis Home Center on Santaquin’s Main Street. Starting with just the two of them as employees, Kurt ran the store and Kathie did the bookkeeping. Many customers have remembered the old store as being small, but they could always find what they needed for home repair or projects.

The Stringham’s built a reputation of being friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They worked on improving the business by listening to the customers and meeting the needs of the small town. In 1986 they joined True Value to help bring better quality and selection to their customers. And as the town and the business continued to grow, they built a new building, opening in the current location in 1998. After 39 years Kurt and Kathie turned over management to their son, Steven. And they have recently returned from an LDS mission.
